1. This #GetSIMBA5G (“Contest”) is a contest organised by SIMBA Telecom Pte. Ltd. (“SIMBA”). The Contest shall be governed by the terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) that are set out herein and/or by such terms as SIMBA shall impose from time to time without further notice to the participant of such Contest.
2. By participating in this Contest, you confirm that you have read and understood these T&C and that you agree to be bound by them. Any breach of these T&C by you will, at the discretion of SIMBA, result in the disqualification of your participation and forfeiture of any prize(s) awarded to you.

A. Eligibility of Participant

1. The participation in this Contest is open to everyone in Singapore who is at least 16 years old at the start of the Contest Period.
2. SIMBA may, at any time and in its absolute discretion, decide on the eligibility requirements for participation in this Contest.
3. SIMBA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each participant and may require any information that it considers necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry under these T&Cs. In the event that SIMBA is exercising its right under these T&Cs to verify the eligibility of the participant, any prize(s) awarded may be withheld until SIMBA has completed the verification.

B. Contest Mechanics

There will be 2 separate contests hosted on SIMBA’s Facebook and TikTok pages separately.

SIMBA 5G Catch

This Contest is valid from 15 December 2023 00:00 hours to 29 December 2023 23:59 hours, Singapore time zone (GMT+8).

Game

1. Participants are to catch ‘5G’ and dodge the ‘Bills’
2. Participants have 3 Hearts for each session, and the session will end when participants have 0 Hearts lefts or when timer runs out after 10 seconds.
3. Each ‘5G’ captured +10 points; ‘Bills’ -1 Heart.
4. Score will be represented in GB.

How to win

1. Post your video using the “SIMBA 5G Catch!” game filter on TikTok
2. Follow us on TikTok @simbatelecomsg and tag #GetSIMBA5G on the video

Weekly Leaderboard Prizes

1. Top 5 participants with the highest posted scores that week win $50 SIMBA credit that is not exchangeable for cash or cash equivalent.
2. Each participant is only allowed to win 1 weekly prize.

Week 1 leaderboard: 15 Dec 00:00 – 21 Dec 23:59. Winners are announced on 22 Dec.

Week 2 leaderboard: 22 Dec 00:00 – 28 Dec 23:59. Winners are announced on 29 Dec.

Overall Leaderboard Prizes

Top 3 participants with the highest posted scores within 15 Dec – 29 Dec will be awarded first, second, and third place respectively. Winners are announced on 3 Jan 2024.

SIMBA 5G Catch Term & Conditions

• Video posted on TikTok must be set to ‘Public’ to qualify.
• Each submission must only feature 1 participant attempting the challenge.
• The scoreboard must be shown clearly in the video.
• Video must include the full 10 seconds of unedited gameplay.
• Participants may add edited clips before or after the required 10 second gameplay.
• By participating in this challenge, participants hereby grant to SIMBA the irrevocable right to download, edit, share and/or otherwise use the Participant’s video entry across all SIMBA social media channels perpetually without notice to the Participant. This shall include, but is not limited to, featuring stills and/or clips from their video entries in SIMBA boosted advertisements on social media.
• Weekly leaderboard winners will be chosen from new entries submitted each week between Friday 00:01 to Thursday 23:59.
• Each participant is only allowed to win 1 weekly prize regardless of number of entries submitted.
• Week 1 leaderboard: 15 Dec 00:00 – 21 Dec 23:59. Winners are announced on 22 Dec.
• Week 2 leaderboard: 22 Dec 00:00 – 28 Dec 23:59. Winners are announced on 29 Dec.
• All entries, including winning entries for weekly leaderboard winners, are eligible for the Overall leaderboard winner’s prize.
• Entries must be submitted before 29 December 2023 23:59 to be eligible.
• Overall Top 3 participants with the highest posted scores within 15 Dec – 29 Dec will be awarded first, second, and third place respectively. Winners are announced on 3 Jan 2024.
• Winners will be contacted through direct message on TikTok to collect their personal information for verification.
• Winners need to be following our @simbatelecomsg TikTok channel.
• Winners must be SIMBA customers at the time of redemption.
• SIMBA will request for the winner’s full name and SIMBA mobile number to verify that they are an active SIMBA subscriber.
• Winning entries will be downloaded by SIMBA.
• Original winning video entries must still be publicly viewable at the time of prize redemption in order for the Participant to be avail to the prize redemption.
• SIMBA retains the discretion to decide on any disputed matters regarding this Contest without further notice to the Participant.

Crossword Challenge

This Contest is valid from 15 December 2023 00:00 hours to 29 December 2023 23:59 hours, Singapore time zone (GMT+8) (“Contest Period”).

Game

• There are a total of 15 words to solve in the Crossword challenge.
• 1 hint for each word will be released daily on the SIMBA Telecom Facebook page.
• Participants are required to guess all 15 words correctly in a single comment on the post

How to win

• Comment all 15 words correctly with its corresponding crossword number on the final post.
• The first 10 participants who post the correct answers to the crossword on the final post as determined by timestamps as seen on SIMBA’s comment dashboard on Facebook shall be the winners of the Contest.

Prizes

• First place: Google Pixel 8 128GB (worth $1,099)
• Second place: Fitbit Versa 4 Smartwatch (worth $358)

• Fourth to Tenth places: $50 SIMBA credit

Crossword Challenge Terms and Conditions

• Each comment is considered a single entry and cannot be combined even if submitted by the same participant.
• Entries must be exact, with each character intended for the crossword placement listed. Spelling errors will disqualify the entry.
• Incomplete or incorrect entries will not be considered.
• Winners will be announced on our Facebook channel by 3rd Jan 2024.

C. Prizes

1. There will be a total of thirty (30) winners for the following Prizes (“Prizes”) with a total worth of $4,062:
   1. 2 x Google Pixel 8, 128GB Phone (worth $1,099 each)
   2. 2 x Fitbit Versa 4, Smartwatch (Worth $358 each)
   3. 2 x Pixel Buds A-Series (Worth $149 each)
   4. 17 x $50 SIMBA Credits (Worth $50 each)
2. SIMBA reserves the absolute discretion to withdraw the winner’s entitlement to the prize without further notice to the winner if the prize is unclaimed by 31 January 2024. SIMBA further reserves the right to deal with and/or dispose of the unclaimed prizes as it sees fit.
3. The prizes, or any part thereof, shall not be transferable, exchangeable, redeemable or substituted for cash or other benefits.
4. Any visuals of prizes used in Contest promotional materials are merely for illustration purposes and real items may differ. SIMBA reserves the right to replace any prize with other item of similar value without prior notice to the participants if necessarily required due to circumstances beyond SIMBA’s expectation or control.
5. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials used in connection with this Contest, in particular that relating to the prizes, are the property of their respective owners. SIMBA is not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.
6. In the event that any selected Contest round winner cannot provide suitable proof of eligibility, his/her prize will be forfeited in whole and no substitute or compensation will be offered.
7. Each Contest round winner agrees to be filmed or photographed during the prize collection, and to the use by SIMBA of their footages, names, photographs and images in any promotional and publicity materials relating to the Contest.
8. The prize for each Contest round winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Where the prize contains a specific date during which the prize should be utilized, no requests for extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained. SIMBA expressly disclaims any warranties express or implied in connection with any prizes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws. The prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and participants agree to comply with all terms and conditions applicable to the prizes. In the event that the prize incurs any tax liability, such tax is the sole responsibility of the Contest round winner.

D. General Terms and Conditions

1. SIMBA will need to collect and use participants’ personal data to facilitate their participation in this Contest. Such personal data may include without limitation a participant’s name, contact number, email address, personal identification or passport number, as well as their pictures, photographs or likeness.
2. Furthermore, given the nature of the Contest, the participant(s) consent and authorise SIMBA and its partners the right to use the names, pictures, photographs or likeness of any participant or winner in their marketing, publicity or Contest materials at their sole discretion without notice to the participant for marketing, publicity or Contest activities without any further compensation (unless prohibited by any prevailing laws).
3. By participating in this Contest, participants consent to SIMBA’s and SIMBA’s partners’ collection, use and disclosure of participants’ personal data for the purposes and in the manner described above and is subject to SIMBA’s Data Protection Notice (https://simba.sg/data-protection-notice) and SIMBA Standard Terms and Conditions (https://simba.sg/terms).
4. SIMBA’s decision on the Contest and the winners shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances. In the event of a dispute, an individual’s entitlement to participate in this Contest and a participant’s entitlement to the Prizes SIMBA shall have the absolute discretion to review and award the Prizes.
5. SIMBA makes no warranty, assurances or guarantees as to the Prizes and shall not be responsible to any winner or any person for the Prizes, including but not limited to the redemption and use of the Prizes and the specifications, defects or non-performance in the Prizes. Any issues faced by the winner vis-a-vis the Prizes shall be resolved directly with the merchant, provider or supplier of the Prizes.
6. SIMBA shall not be liable to any winner or any person for damages, losses, costs or expenses, including but not limited to special, incidental, indirect, consequential, punitive, lost profits, revenue, business or anticipated savings suffered or incurred by any winner or any person arising out of or in connection with the redemption and use of any Prize.
7. To the extent permissible by law, Participants (including their heirs, parents, legal guardians, executor, and/or administrators) shall hold harmless and indemnify SIMBA and the SIMBA’s agents and/or partners against any and all liabilities, losses, damages, claims, injury, actions, proceedings, expense and cost which may result, directly or indirectly, in relation to their participation in this Contest and/or breach of these Terms and Conditions, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8. All intellectual property attached to the prizes for this Contest is the property of their respective owners and SIMBA makes no claim thereof. SIMBA and its affiliates and its contractors are not affiliated with or endorsed or sponsored by such owners and their relevant affiliates.
9. By participating in this Contest, the participant grants SIMBA a perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free worldwide, limited licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and translate any intellectual property produced, relevant to or derived from the participant’s participation in this Contest such as their picture, photograph or likeness.
10. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry into the Contest. SIMBA in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions
11. SIMBA reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate this Contest, or amend any of these terms and conditions at any time, without notice and liability. Participation in this Contest will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and any amendments thereof.
12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Where a dispute arises from the Contest or this T&C, both SIMBA and the participant will use all reasonable endeavours to amicably resolve any disputes within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved, the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Contest or this T&C.
